Goats On The Beach
Part humans, part goats, all chaos. We herd classic rock, prog, and unapologetic weirdness straight onto the stage—no kidding, it’s baa-rilliant.
About us: The Story Behind Goats On The Beach Band
Goats On The Beach is the recording project of songwriter and producer Vince Miele, creating original music that blends cinematic atmosphere, progressive rock, alternative rock, and emotional storytelling.
Every release begins with the song itself. Rather than chasing trends, Goats On The Beach focuses on memorable melodies, thoughtful lyrics, and immersive production that rewards repeated listening. Whether it’s a four-minute ballad or a sprawling progressive epic, the goal is always the same: tell a story worth hearing.

Our Philosophy
Remember when music wasn’t afraid to take risks?
From the ’60s through the ’80s, songs weren’t just recorded—they were crafted. Layered, dramatic, occasionally over-the-top, and yes… sometimes even a little pretentious (okay, more than a little—but in the best possible way).
Ten-minute epics. Unexpected key changes. Odd time signatures. Album covers that made you stop and ask, “Wait… what am I looking at?”
Those records still resonate today because they dared to be different. They challenged listeners, rewarded curiosity, and invited people to experience music as something more than background noise.
That spirit never disappeared.
Progressive rock, art rock, and cinematic songwriting continue to inspire artists and listeners who believe music can still surprise us, move us, and occasionally make us count along just to figure out where the beat landed.
Goats On The Beach embraces all of it—the ambition, the experimentation, the emotion, and yes… even the glorious excess.
The music draws inspiration from an era when albums felt like journeys and songs were allowed to breathe. Where storytelling mattered as much as musicianship, and atmosphere was just as important as melody.
Our mission is simple:
Create original cinematic rock that honors the adventurous spirit of classic songwriting while speaking with a modern voice.
For the fans who grew up with those records.
And for those discovering that kind of music for the very first time.
No capes required…
…but they’re definitely encouraged.
